Emerald Sphere

For conservation organisations

Bring your conservation base onto Emerald Sphere

Emerald Sphere gives independent conservation bases the platform they need to publish programs, manage volunteers and keep the mission running — without surrendering their identity or independence.

Why join

Keep your independence

Your base keeps its own identity, its own microsite, and full control of its programs. Emerald Sphere is infrastructure, not a gatekeeper.

A complete operating platform

Public microsite, volunteer applications, review workflows, science publishing and media — all in one place, ready on day one.

Built for resilience

After the collapse of a global organisation, Emerald Sphere exists so no single point of failure can take the mission down again.

How it works

1

Register your base

Tell us about your organisation, bases and programs through a short onboarding form.

2

We migrate your content

We help move your existing programs, media and volunteer information onto the platform.

3

Your microsite goes live

Each base gets its own public website, fully CMS-driven and managed by your team.

4

Start receiving volunteers

Applications flow straight into your operations workspace, reviewed by your program managers.

Ownership philosophy

Emerald Sphere is deliberately not a central authority. Bases own their content, their programs and their volunteer relationships. The platform provides shared infrastructure — discovery, applications, science and media — while every base remains autonomous. If Emerald Sphere disappeared tomorrow, your data and your mission would still be yours.

Revenue model

Phase 1 is applications, not payments — there is no upfront cost to list programs or receive volunteer applications. Future paid capabilities (bookings, payments, premium tooling) will be opt-in and transparent. Bases are never charged to keep the mission running.

  • No cost to join or list programs
  • No commission on volunteer applications in this phase
  • Optional paid tooling introduced transparently, opt-in only

Migration process

Most bases already have programs described on an existing website or spreadsheet. We map that onto Emerald Sphere's structured model — bases, programs, media, science — and set up your team's accounts. Typical onboarding takes days, not months.

  1. 1Share your current website / program list
  2. 2We structure it into bases and programs
  3. 3Your team reviews and refines in the admin portal
  4. 4Publish when ready

Frequently asked questions

No. Your base owns and manages its own programs, content and applications. The platform is shared infrastructure.
